“LeoShape has cut significant time out of my digital foot orthotic workflow and eliminated the need for foam boxes entirely. Having used other software in this space, it has the most intuitive controls I’ve found for modifying the arch, heel cup, and overall shape. We still offer traditional fabrication, but this gives us a fully digital option that covers the full spectrum of patients we see — without sacrificing fit quality. It’s become a core part of how I approach digital foot orthotic fabrication.”

What are the computer requirements to run LeoShape?
No specific hardware is required to operate LeoShape successfully, as it is browser-based. Like any program, faster machines will offer a more enjoyable experience.
Is it a paid subscription model?
The stardard payment model is per use (download / export) basis. We also offer white label and highly customized solutions, implementation or subscription fees may apply. To learn more about pricing, please fill out our contact form and our experts will reach out to you.
Which manufacturing methods are supported?
We support it all: CNC, FDM, SLS, MJF.
What filetypes are supported?
STL/OBJ for Import and STL/OBJ/3MF for Export
Which scanners are supported and recommended?
Our platform supports all scanners that export STL or OBJ file formats. Many clinics and labs rely on flatbed scanners for insole scanning, while handheld scanners — such as Einstar or Artec — are preferred for applications like AFOs, prosthetics, and spinal braces.
For a more budget-friendly option, iPhone apps utilizing Face ID technology, such as Comb and SnugFit, or iPad apps with Structure Sensor integration, offer effective scanning solutions.
For an all-in-one digital workflow, we highly recommend WikyScan, which streamlines the entire process—from scanning and prescribing to design and 3D printing.
Can I make my own designs/templates?
Yes, you can make and save a preset design recipe, and then apply it to new scans to save time.
How much training is necessary?
LeoShape editors are very intuitive and simple compared to industry-standard CAD. Our experience shows that most people can start using our editors with less than 1 hour of training. For more information please see our online brochure here.
